Menegesha forest, Wanchi crater, Negash Lodge

Drive out of Addis, stopping for to explore Menegesha forest. Its possible to see birds and monkeys as well as enjoy the forest environment. An experienced guide will be provided. Drive on to Woliso and to Negash lodge. Enjoy the swimming pool with water from thermal spring, and spot the black & white colobus monkeys, as well as vervet monkeys, bushbuck and tree hyrax.

Set off next morning on an enjoyable drive through the countryside up to rim of crater. The entrance fee and guide fee are included. Trek down to lake in crater and enjoy the views and the forest, before driving back to Addis via Ambo road (a different route).

1 night at Negash Lodge – bed &breakfast.
Entry & guide fees to Menegesha forest and Wanchi crater. 4WD landcruiser for whole trip with experienced driver. Pickup from your hotel in Addis and drop back at the end.
